Texas Pacifico Windmill Train : The Texas Pacifico Railroad takes charge of a windmill train near Coleman, TX from the BNSF and begins the slow journey of tranporting the towers to Ft Stockton, TX.  The train consisted of 72 cars which contained sections of 18 wind towers.  It is one of the longest trains to operate on this line in many years.  Texas Pacifico operates on tracks once owned by the Kansas City, Mexico & Orient Railroad which later became under control of the Santa Fe.

Great Western Dinkies : These Davenport 0-4-0 engines were used to switch cars at the sugar beet refineries in Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado.  In the 1970's and 80's these 13 engines made up the largest fleet of steam engines still in operation.  More info can be found at the following website:  http://www.steamlocomotive.info/F92001.cfm

National Train Day 2008 : On May 10th, 1869 the Union Pacific and Central Pacific met at Promontory Summit, Utah.  This completed the transcontinental railroad.  In the spirit of this historic event, May 10th is now National Train Day.
